Frasier Revival Season 2 Trailer Sees Beloved Psychiatrist Return to Seattle Radio

Paramount+ has dropped the first trailer for Season 2 of the “Frasier” revival.

Of note in the trailer, fans get their first look at Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) returning to KACL in Seattle. That episode which will feature guest stars Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, and Harriet Sansom Harris as Frasier’s agent, Bebe Glazer, all reprising their roles from the original series.

As preivously reported, the new season will premiere on Sept. 19 with two episodes. New episodes will then drop weekly in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. The new season will launch later this year in additional territories where the service is available.

Along with Grammer, the series also stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro, and Anders Keith. Additional guest stars this season include Peri Gilpin, returning as Roz Doyle, as well as Rachel Bloom, Yvette Nicole Brown, Greer Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Harriet Sansom Harris, and Amy Sedaris.

“Frasier” is filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The series hails from writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli. Both serve as executive producers along with Grammer, Tom Russo, and Jordan McMahon of Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions. James Burrows also returns to direct two episodes of Season 2. CBS Studios produces in association with Grammnet NH Productions.

The first season of the revival recently picked up three Emmy nominations — outstanding production design for a narrative program (half hour), outstanding cinematography for a multi-camera series (half hour), and outstanding picture editing for a multi-camera series.
